This was purchased for a playroom to be mounted on a wall. It has a good picture and the sound quality is fine for the small space. The DVD player works well and we are content with the TV with one exception. The controls are on top of the TV...so if the handheld TV remote is misplaced they are very difficult to reach for an adult much less a child. Would have been much better had the controls been on the side opposite the DVD player.

When I opened the box I was not expecting to see a glossy black finish on the flat screen. Given the picture shown online, which was the reason why I bought this unknown brand, I thought I was getting a silver/dull metal finish. Also, the ac box is approximately three inches long and has a separate cord that plugs into the outlet. Other ac units I have plug directly into the outlet and were much smaller. The cords also come out the side of the unit instead of the back. One other odd thing is when the unit is first turned on a blue Pyle logo screen comes up before the picture.

I BOUGHT THIS ITEM TO MOUNT TO THE WALL OVER OUR TREADMILL (TO MAKE WALKING A LITTLE LESS BORING). THIS 19" FLATSCREEN WITH THE BUILT IN DVD PLAYER (NON BLU-RAY) FITS THE BILL QUITE WELL. I HAVE ONLY HAD IT FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW, AND IT SEEMS TO WORK VERY NICELY. IT DOES EXACTLY WHAT I BOUGHT IT FOR. I HAVE HOOKED STANDARD CABLE TO IT AND ADDED SOME WIRELESS HEADPHONES. NOW SOME TECHNICAL STUFF...THIS T.V. WILL HANDLE UP TO 1080I ACCORDING TO THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION, BUT YOU MUST REMEMBER THAT INPUT IS THE KEY HERE. STANDARD CABLE (WITHOUT AN "HD" SET TOP BOX) ONLY RECEIVES AND REPRODUCES 480I. AN "HD" SET TOP BOX HOOKED TO THIS T.V. WOULD RECEIVE AND REPRODUCE UP TO 1080I...SO IF YOU ARE ONLY HOOKING UP CABLE WITHOUT AN "HD" BOX YOU MAY NOT BE TOO EXCITED WITH THE PICTURE. THE FURTHER AWAY THAT YOU VIEW THIS T.V., THE "BETTER" THE PICTURE LOOKS. IT IS ONLY ROUGHLY 2 FEET FROM THE TREADMILL WHILE WALKING...SO THE 480I PICTURE ISN'T "ALL IT COULD BE". THERE ARE AMPLE INPUTS ON THIS T.V. INCLUDING A HEADPHONE JACK. AS "PRIME" MEMBERS SHIPPING WAS GREAT & DELIVERY WAS GREAT. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL. I JUST WANTED TO INCLUDE THE TECHIE STUFF SO THAT OTHERS VIEWING THIS ARE BETTER INFORMED FROM MY REVIEW.
