I have been using and gifting Harmony remotes since before Logitech purchased Harmony. They continue to provide the best value in a universal remote no matter which model you choose. I purchased the 700 for my step-son for Christmas to simplify control of his DirecTV, Samsung 50" Plasma, Samsung mini DVD stereo system, Samsung Blu-ray and Wii. For newbies the UI for programming the remote takes a little getting used to but provides easy step-by-step start up. I chose the 700 for the price point ($65 on sale) and its rechargeable feature. The only complaint I have is you can't specify the order the activities are displayed on the color screen. Small issue as the important ones are programmed to the dedicated buttons at the top of the remote.

This remote was easy to set up. It works well with my older Pro Scan HDTV. I received the remote as a Christmas present. I upgraded from a 550 that still works, but the recharge ability was worth the price of the upgrade.
